"You will be missed old fella" xxx

I was very happy to read a Guestbook Entry from Mr Dave Paulsen regarding our beautiful mare "Royal Coco". With Dave's advice I have been able to find out about and have pictures of Coco's beautiful palomino QH sire "Poco Bar King"!! What a wonderful horse he was!!

A huge THANK YOU to Mal Whitley for the photos and with whom I now enjoy a wonderful friendship!

The Nav Ride on the 6th June, 2009 was held at Harvey Dale which is located in Northern Tasmania. The Nav Ride is like orienteering on horse back with an undisclosed time to complete it in. So you need to judge or guess what the time to complete the course is. There were 140 riders, they leave 2 minutes apart. When you start you are given a form with 20 questions to answer on the way. Your clues are hidden in different locations along the 20klm (approx) ride. Your estimated time is somewhere between 2 and 3 hours.

This was the first time Pokes had been ridden in company and the first time Pokes had been floated. This was also Pokes' 7th ride since he was broken in within 6 weeks. He behaved himself like if he'd done it a 100 times before. He had never been in a bog or water let alone going through creeks, culverts and over rough terrain. During the ride I was riding along side mares and other horses without any problems. At the end of the ride he was happy to be tied to the float and have a feed.

He has been a pleasure to own and is awesome thanks to Robyn & John Twaddle (Centennial Appaloosas)

The above email was written by Denise & Peter and we appreciate their compliments!

Poco is an awesome boy and we are very proud! Thanks Denise & Pete!

There are no foals due at Centennial this 2009 season, but we are very excited about the fact that

awesome son of Nioka Mega Son

will have his first foal crop this season!!!

"Sonny" will be a Grand Sire!
